Dutch DJ/producer Martin Garrix plays an exclusive live set at the Kaag Lakes, The Netherlands. Hidden among the reeds, the water-rich natural landscapes of South Holland provide the perfect backdrop for his playful and Dutch inspired set. Surrounded by iconic windmills, tulips, pastures and grazing animals, the idyllic area shows the true green heart of the country. The popular boating area is shaken by the special performance of Garrix, who transforms the area into a musical celebration live from the Land of Water. A home match for Garrix, giving us the best the Netherlands has to offer, both on and off board.
From an early age, the Dutch Martin Garrix had a deep-rooted love for music. While his first electronic dance music track was released on the label of his idol Tiësto, he gained international fame with his solo release Animals in 2013. Followed by big hits such as In The Name Of Love with Bebe Rexha, Scared to Be Lonely which became Dua Lipa’s breakthrough song and Ocean (with Khalid). His characteristic heavy vocals, catchy dance and melodic pop anthems form a distinctive sound and he has headlined the biggest musical festivals including Coachella, Tomorrowland and Ultra Music Festival. In 2016 Garrix launched his own label STMPD RCRDS, a creative platform that brings together both established and upcoming artists. For Martin Garrix Live: On Dutch Waters we go back to his roots, a celebration of electronic dance music on the Dutch inland waterways.
